We’re looking for what we think is better for most people. We’re not hunting for the most feature-packed gadget or the finest finishes of home products. We choose items that suit well with the lives of ordinary people who are shopping for it and that’s what work requires.
The decisions we made here with our team took weeks or months of analysis and years of practice with a wide range of gears. In addition to our own experience, we have interviews and evidence from the finest editorial outlets. We also hire the aid of mechanics, physicists and other subject matter experts. And we take a look at consumer feedback to figure out what matters to ordinary people.
Much of the gear we select here is not top-of-the-line models that are overpriced and filled with garbage features; we try to recommend items that are of good enough quality to justify a premium, but not items that pay more with additional features that you barely need.

We think this is a rational structure that keeps us dedicated to serving our readers first.
Its most crucial part for us is the confidence we have in our readers. If we wanted to suggest something because we’re obstinate or selfish, readers like you wouldn’t help our job. We also encourage you to review our papers closely detailing the time, reasoning, and resources expended studying, interviewing experts, and checking the equipment.
